About
My name is Sinead Sedgwick
Sinead has spent the past 5 years actively seeking out knowledge and experience in obedience and behavioural work with many experienced trainers gaining hands on experience with difficult cases.
Mainly led through the frustrating experience of owning her first Husky, Winter. A highly prey driven dominant dog, who from eight weeks old, would spin on a lead screaming and trying to get to other dogs to use aggression. Now the model dog, she is a shining example of what training can do, she now owns a further two Husky/Malamutes, a dominant male Cosmo with genetic resource guarding and a second female Mika, both with high prey drive.
Finally she rehomed a Belgian Malinois Sirius who was due to be euthanised due to food aggression, working him in high level obedience, protection work and trials. All dogs live in harmony and live a life of huge freedom, going on family hikes enjoying pulling and breed specific sports, proving that with the correct training in place high driven dogs can safely be off lead enjoying life!
Sinead has now successfully supported many owners in rehabilitating various issues such as resource guarding, dog aggression, handler aggression and more.
Successfully training and rehoming a foster called Menace, a kennel guarding and human aggressive Malinois due to be euthanised with a serious bite history. She strives for continued knowledge and spends a huge amount of time and money travelling the country to spend time learning from many of the world's best trainers to ensure her clients get the best up to date training possible. Her passion for group training sessions, pack walks and knowledge can be seen in the time invested in each and every client to help resolve their issues.
